The Simple Little Black Dress
Doesn’t really have to be a dress anymore!
It’s great when you’re going out to a special event, and you have a go-to dress that is forever flattering no matter what!
But sometimes you want to feel amazing even if it’s a Monday morning. Right?
It doesn’t matter what you do on a daily basis, we all just want to feel glamorous sometimes! Even if you’re just going to the supermarket, you can still spice up your look. At times we just feel so slump that we need a little pick me up. Your little black dress doesn’t have to be only for special events!
So instead of being forced to wear something lifeless on a Monday morning, why not have alternatives: “The Little Black Dress”. It doesn’t have to be an actual dress. “The Little Black Dress”, if you aren’t aware, was just a saying for something that is a go-to dress. However, my revisit to “The Little Black Dress” is a twist on the old classic.
For me, my wardrobe mainly consists of black. It’s my power color, I feel very confident when I wear black. However, whose to say you can’t feel confident in any color?! It all depends on my mood. That’s the most important thing you have to understand. I want all of you, ladies and gents out there, to dress how you feel.
Feeling unexciting about your looks can be reversed. If you tell yourself you feel boring, you’re going to feel boring. If you tell yourself you feel amazing, you’ll feel that way.
Personally, whatever mood I’m in I either rock the day or not. Ladies and Gents, you do hold all the cards in this game of dress-up. I don’t mean that you have to wear designer brands or spend massive amounts of money just to look good. Trust me, there are so many things you can do on a budget.
Dress how you feel, as they say, “dress for success.” We all have certain things in our closets that make us feel great about ourselves. I want all of you to go through your closets and see what those items are. It might be a pair of jeans, a t-shirt or a dress. Whatever it is, you have the power to rock it!
